Why choose Waxing with Sienna X?!

I'd received information about the new Sienna X waxing range and my original thought was "but there a tanning brand"! I liked the look of all the products so decided to look into them further and read some reviews. Not only is it nice for therapists to use, but clients love it & the pre/post waxing products look fab on my trolley too! Bonus!

How long to I need to grow my hair before waxing?

Sienna x wax can even remove short hairs, but for best results I'd recommend at least 3 weeks of hair growth. I always say the hair should be the length of a grain of rice. All areas of the body will grow differently so bear that in mind.

Is waxing suitable for sensitive skin?

Sienna x wax is designed for the most sensitive skin and the pre/post skincare system contain DEFINSIL-PLUS which helps soothe, protect and regenerate the skin.

What do I wear for my waxing treatment?

Paper knickers are provided for all intimate waxing treatments. Loose clothing is advised to put on, for ease and comfort after your treatment.

What's the difference between all the bikini names/areas?

Basic bikini = tidy up just outside your knicker line.

Brazilian = all off underneath, 'landing' strip left at the top.

Hollywood = everything off front and back

How long will the results of my treatment last?

Everyone's natural hair growth cycle is very different so it's hard to say. Generally takes around 4 waxing treatments to notice your hair getting finer and for the treatment to become more long lasting. I'd recommended to book every 4-6 weeks to maintain the hair.

Is there anything I need to do before my treatment?

I'd always recommend exfoliating the area the day before to realise any hairs trapped under the skin for a better finish. Avoid using moisturiser & sun exposure/sunbeds on the day of your treatment.

Is there anything I can't do after my treatment?

Your pores will be open so follow these steps to prevent bacteria or infection for the next 24-48hrs following treatment.

Avoid exposure to uv light.

Avoid swimming or saunas

Do not apply lotions or cosmetics.
